what do you like/enjoy about belize?
Land of the free by the carib sea. What is there not to enjoy or like about Belize? Personally as someone who enjoys scuba diving and lives on an island, I enjoy the sea. When entering the water, it's as if though you're entering a different dimension. The underwater world is almost like I'm living a fast life but I get to see it in slow motion. The different colors of flora and fauna is as if I'm watching our September celebration and the view from underwater is like viewing the portal into my world.

I should be chosen as Miss World Belize because of my humanitarian character that I try to portray everywhere and my passion to help those in need; I believe a great beauty ambassador and a representative for Miss World Belize should portray these qualities.

Who is your role model and why?
My role model is my mother. My mother is strong, independent and steadfast. She inspires me in so many ways everyday. Almost everyone I know depends on her one way or the other. She gives people guidance, love and a shoulder to cry on if anyone needs it. If someone needs help, she makes the time to physically be there to help despite her busy schedule.  She does all this while being fully supportive of me and working our farm together. While many may only see the strength she shows to them, I know her true strength. What I believe I wouldn't be able to handle If I were in her shoes, she pushes through with a resilience that I hope I too have in me. Her faith also inspires me to build my own. She is my role model because of all of these qualities and more. She inspires me to be strong but caring like her. She inspires me to help others even if you have to share your very last. I wouldn't be the person I am if it wasn't for her inspiration.

If you could change anything about the world, what would it be?
I would definitely change the perspective of how women should be. We have the right to choose our careers. We have a right to speak up in international conferences and not only be heard but also taken into consideration. We have a society that is forcing others to cover the sun with only one finger. The same story repeats itself over and over, and we need public figures to take action for a positive change. If I had the power to change anything it would be this. I would change the common knowledge of women being incapable because we are capable of anything and everything we set our minds to.
