My name is Amira Hidalgo, 23 years old. I have a degree in Journalistic Communication (UCA), graduated 2019.
In 2017 I was a co-host of “Libre Opinion”, Canal Provincial, a political program in electoral year.
Since 2017 I have been working at CrónicaTV, I started conducting the political program "Siempre Noticias" reporting on current events in the country. I co-hosted the news program "Santo día" on the return to the screen of Santo Biasatti. Currently I am conducting "It's Very Early" newscast that is broadcast on the TV chronicle screen from Monday to Friday from 4 to 6 am Coverage of the 2020 season in Mar del Plata, show and news.
I was awarded a grant from the Ninawa Daher Foundation to do the Master in Investigative Journalism at the Universidad del Salvador.

Miss World Argentina 2020 Crowned
Amira Hidalgo took over the Miss World Argentina reign from her predecessor, Judit Grnja, on Monday 9th November. The competition, "Bendice La Corona", involved four months of training, documented in a virtual reality show. This concluded with the virtual final show, which was the most appropriate format due to Covid-19 restrictions. 24 contestants, out of 1000 applications, were selected for the competition. This concluded with the virtual final show, which was the most appropriate format due to Covid-19 restrictions. 24 contestants, out of 1000 applications, were selected for the competition. They participated in Beauty with a Purpose, Talent, Culture and Sport preliminary competitions, which determined the eight finalists. These finalists received a surprise visit, at their house, from Miss World Argentina 2019, Judit Grnja. Judit found out more details about them and this was broadcast in the final episode of the show.
In her coronation speech, Amira stated,
“To be Miss World Argentina at an international level, I went from being Amira Hidalgo and became Argentina, I am very happy and it is an honour. The crown is not mine but belongs to all Argentines, highlighting the integral beauty that Argentine women have."
Amira is a 23 year old journalist and a television news presenter. She holds a master's degree in Investigative Journalism, for which she won a Scholarship. Amira has volunteered at a community-dining centre in San Miguel for four years. She feeds more than 100 children daily and states “I’m at the service of the most vulnerable people in my district.”
