Emma Terry Pageant Journey: Now Heading Miss Alabama Stage

Once Miss Leeds Middle School in 2017 to Miss Jefferson County Ready for Miss Alabama 2024 Pageant

In May 2017, The Alabama Teenager started her pageant journey when she announced "So honored to be Miss Leeds Middle School! (Instagram.com/p/BTxmkfhhv5b).

On Monday, November 6, 2017, Terry told "I am so honored to have been crowned Miss Cahaba Valley's Outstanding Teen yesterday!" (Instagram.com/p/BbLc8HyBDm0). Later she joined her first Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen Orientation in January 2018.

She added to her pageant journey revealing "What helps me stay motivated is setting small goals leading up to a larger goal. This way I am rewarded along the way while continuing to work toward my ultimate goal."

On Friday August 24, 2018 she announced the launch of website Stompingoutalsonestepatatime.com titled EMMA TERRY: STOMPING OUT ALS which informs "My Grandy's diagnosis has inspired me to make a difference. You can take steps to help stomp out ALS!"

Terry added one more crown when she announced on Monday August 27, 2018 "Wow! I’m so excited and thankful to have been crowned Miss Covered Bridge’s Outstanding Teen yesterday. I’m looking forward to my year of service."

Emma Terry became First Runner up at Miss Northeast Alabama’s Outstanding Teen and she told on Thursday February 7, 2019 "...is my favorite pageant memory. I had never placed in a pageant before and I walked away that day with some experience and newly found confidence. I knew that I did the best I could do and I couldn’t have been prouder of myself!"

In March 2019 she competed at Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen for the Oneonta and Blount County Area

On Monday, February 25th She revealed "I represent the Oneonta and Blount County Area. Wondering why my title is called Miss Covered Bridge’s Outstanding Teen? That’s because Oneonta is home to the tallest covered bridge in the United States. This community has supported me from the beginning. I am so honored to be Miss Covered Bridge’s Outstanding Teen and can’t wait to represent this wonderful area at #malot19 !"

Meet Emma Terry The 1ST Runner-up Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen 2019

Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen 2019 was held at the Thompson High School Performing Arts Center in Alabaster, Alabama on Sunday, March 3, 2019 where Emma Terry was placed first runner-up. She reacted "ll I can say is wow. This weekend truly was the best weekend of my life. Not only did I place as first runner up to Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen, but I also walked away with scholarships and lifelong friendships. A huge congratulations to @zoechampion11 ! Next Crown Miss Leeds Area’s Outstanding Teen in June 2019

The 1ST Runner-up to Marcelle LeBlanc and later became Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen 2020

On Sunday, March 8th, 2020, Terry emerged as first runner up placement at Thompson Performing Arts Center in Alabaster. Actress Marcelle LeBlanc of Alabama was crowned Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2022 on Friday, July 30, 2020 which later resulted in Emma Terry became Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2022 for rest of reigning period.

On Monday July 17, 2023, The Winner's Statement by Emma Terry reads "Grateful and overjoyed to be Miss Jefferson County! I am so thankful to be part of this family and have the opportunity to serve the community! I cannot wait to spend the next year with Mama Amy, Jarrod, Evie, and the entire board! Thank you to every person who volunteered their time yesterday! I wouldn’t even be writing this post without you! Thank you @victorjamesphotography for these pictures!
