Lauren Bradford of Gulf Shores was crowned Miss Alabama 2021 on June 12, 2021 at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama. She competed as Miss Jefferson County, Check more information at official Insta handle @missamericaal.
She competed for the title of Miss America 2022 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut Thursday, December 16, 2021.
Bradford of Gulf Shores at 21 performed Violin talent at Miss America stage. She was Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen 2017 and on social front works on UNPLUG: The Digital Diet Plan.

God placed the desire on my heart many years ago to one day be Miss Alabama, and last night my dream aligned with His. I am completely humbled to be your new MISS ALABAMA!!! I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the people who have walked with me to this point, and to my Jesus who equipped and postured my heart for this moment. It is truly such an honor to step into this role and into a legacy of 100 years of rich history, bold ambition, and genuine servanthood. Alabama is my home; it has forever impacted and molded me. I treasure immensely the opportunity to steward my gifts and time in order to give back to the people of Alabama for a year. I am so excited to get to work, and to represent Alabama at MISS AMERICA!!

Psalm 139:16 says “All of my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.” I believe this truth is so important and I believe that what is meant for you will never pass you by.
Thank you Jesus! I am HONORED to be the 1st Runner Up to our new Miss America, Emma Broyles !! Emma- what a moment I will always treasure, standing there with you awaiting one of our names to be called. You have a beautiful spirit, and your spunk and kindness lights up every space you occupy. You will represent our class and our nation so beautifully, and I am cheering you on all the way! Thankful to have gained a friend for LIFE.
It has been an absolute honor to represent the great state of Alabama over these past few weeks, and I cannot wait to continue to do that for the next 6 months! SO ready to continue to serve my state; leaving with $42,500 in cash scholarships and unshakeable joy!
Thank you to every person who ever made me feel like Miss America and has built me up throughout this process. If God lays a dream on your heart, pursue it with courage and enthusiasm - even if no one around you understands. God can use you in mighty ways when you are bold enough to trust Him.
