Moraya Wilson was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2023: Goes with 2nd Runner-up placement @ Miss Universe

Fri, Sep 1, 2023: Victoria Representative Moraya Wilson has won over 23 Contestants and crowned as new Miss Universe Australia 2023 at the end of Grand Finale in the Pageant Venue Sofitel Melbourne on Collins today on Friday, September 1st, 2023 which started at 6pm.

Newly crowned Moraya Wilson Miss Universe Australia 2023 will represent her nation with the national flag at the upcoming 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.

Moraya Wilson works as a Sports Coach focusing predominantly on skiing and track says "I love what I do and strongly believe in the importance of sports for our youth. I’m also a model and am graduating this year from my Business Marketing studies at RMIT University in Melbourne."

• I'm most proud of my Alpine ski racing experiences, competing on an elite level internationally.

• If I could have any superpower, it would be to fly. I love an adrenaline rush!

• I'm inspired by Bethany Hamilton. A professional surfer who survived a shark attack in 2003 where she lost her arm. She made an incredible return to professional surfing and has such a strong ‘never give up’ attitude.

• If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be driven.

• I'm happiest when I’m working towards my goal as a sports coach and inspiring more youth to chase their sporting dreams.

• I can't live without my siblings, they have supported and encouraged my endeavors growing up and have pushed me to always strive for my goals.
