Today Miss World Team Arrives Mumbai, The City Of Dreams

Sat, Feb 10, 2024: To welcome the 71st Miss World Festival in Mumbai, a press conference held at the Aurika, Mumbai Skycity - Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels. The Organization President Julia Morley was joined by Miss World, Karolina Bielawska , Toni-Ann Singh , the 69th Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de Leon, the 68th Miss World, and Stephanie del Valle, the 66th Miss World, to answer questions from the local and national media.

  • The Reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska was beautifully dressed by the talented Archana Kochhar, the official fashion designer for the 71st Miss World Festival. 
  • India's Mega City, Mumbai will host the big finale of Miss World, to be held at the spectacular Jio World Convention Center, on March 9th, 7:30 PM local time (GMT 2 PM).
  • The Miss World final will be live-streamed by Sony Liv.

Delegates from around the world reached New Delhi, India to join the much awaited Miss World Pageant and check-in at the Ashok Hotel.

Miss World Day 03 - Opening Ceremony @ The Ashok - Tuesday, February 20, 2024

MWO President Julia Morley, Karolina Bielawska Miss World along with 112 Contestants joins The 71st Miss World Festival in the Opening Ceremony, at The Ashok, India Tourism Development Corporation Limited, in New Delhi. Day 4 Wednesday, February 21st

The very important day, to present the beauty with a purpose projects at the 71st edition of Miss World with the majestic presence of Miss World’s president and CEO, Julia Morley and Miss World,  Karolina Bielawska.

Day 5 Thursday February 22nd

The Miss World Head to Head Challenge is LIVE Streamed at Youtu.be/abeKa3HTzfE. The Sports Challenge Qualifier Round at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi with Beep Test.

Day 6 - Friday, February 23rd

The 25 contestants joined BWAP Final at The Summit Room in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi presenting G20 Based Video Presentation and 5 Winners / The Top 40 Quarter Finalists announced at the Pragati Maidan, which means land of progress, is the most important convention center in India where last year, the G20 held its headquarters and discussed topics such as Climate Change, Sustainable Development Goals, Health Care For All, Digital Transition, Women-led development/empowerment, topics that were addressed today during the Head to Head Challenge in the 71st edition of Miss World.

The Top 32 cleared Sports Challenge heading to Fonals next day.

Day 7 - Saturday, February 24th, 2024 - The Miss World’s Sport Challenge Finals

The Top 32 Contestants today play for gold and a spot in this years contest Top 40 Quarter Finalists at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi with Indian Female Football Players.

Day 8 - Sunday, February 25th

The Day to know the Tadoba festival. An incredible event that showcases the biodiversity of TATR and highlight the efforts of forest personnel, communities living in and around forests, scientific institutions, and the non-governmental sector.

Today, also the visit to the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), hearing stories of exemplary women supporting women's empowerment and how to serve others through sustainability in agriculture, education, and health. It was a very touching encounter.

Also the last day in New Delhi to fly to Mumbai the next & final stop till coronation day and departures.

Day 9 - Monday, February 26th

The 112 Miss World Contestants with team moves to The luxurious Aurika Mumbai Skycity in Mumbai, a home away from home till the departure day March 10, 2024.

Aurika Mumbai Skycity - Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels, is where luxury is elevated through exceptional services and comfort. It is one of the finest hotels in Mumbai, located close to the airport.

Today is the day for Beauty With a Purpose Gala Dinner where Top 10 BWAP Winners are announced. The Top 14 @ Talent Challenge presented their final performance and winners announced.

Day 16 - Monday, March 4th

Today is the Day of Interview with Jury Members. Miss World Dominican Republic reacys "it was a very beautiful and emotional moment talking about our experiences both in life and those we have spent in the contest. This beautiful dress made by Fashion Designer Diany Mota"

Day 20 - Friday, March 8, 2024 International Women’s Day

Along with celebrating womanhood, its also the Second Day of Rehearsals at the Jio World Convention Centre.

Grand Finale & Coronation Day 21 - Saturday, March 9, 2024 Starting at 7:30 PM India Time / 2 PM GMT.

  • Today is the D-day, Miss World Stage is ready to welcome 112 Contestants to present the grand finale and coronation hosted by Megan Young, Miss World 2013, Actress and TV presenter and Karan Johar, the Indian filmmaker.
  • The experience of lifetime performances gets more exciting with entertainers Shaan, Neha Kakkar, Tony Kakkar, and Toni-Ann Singh.
  • Shiamak Davar's Dance Company will perform at the Miss World Grand Finale.
  • The 71st Miss World Show Time is 7:30 PM India Time / 2 PM GMT on Saturday, March 9th, 2024. People of Dominican Republic are able to enjoy the grand final of Miss World LIVE and Direct at the official channel Telecentro Canal 13 starting at 10:00AM on March 09, 2024 and and repeat telecast at 8:00pm.
  • The complete final show is made available in LIVE Stream by Sony LIV for the whole world from the pageant venue Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Megan Young, who captured hearts worldwide when she clinched the Miss World title in 2013, brings her charisma and grace to the stage once again as the co-host of the 71st Miss World Finale. With her experience in the spotlight and her innate ability to connect with audiences, she is poised to elevate the evening.

Joining her is Karan Johar, a renowned name in Indian cinema. He has garnered numerous film accolades, two National Film Awards, and the prestigious Padma Shri. Karan is set to add his signature flair to the event, ensuring an entertaining and engaging experience for viewers worldwide.

Known for their chart-topping hits and electrifying stage presence, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar form a dynamic sibling duo celebrated for their numerous hit numbers.

Neha, with her powerhouse vocals and Tony, with his knack for crafting catchy melodies, have carved a niche for themselves in the hearts of millions of fans worldwide. Their performance at the event will feature a new song, specially composed for the occasion.

The performance line-up also includes Shaan, a successful Indian singer, television personality, composer, and lyricist, with a career spanning over 30 years. He has won several prestigious awards such as Filmfare, GIMA, and MTV Asia awards, and has performed on global stages.

Toni-Ann Singh, Miss World 2019 from Jamaica, will also return to the Miss World stage, this time as a performer, presenting her new single.

7pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024: As the Jio World Convention Centre gears up to host the prestigious Miss World 2023 Finale, the contestants immersed themselves in a captivating tour at the epicentre of culture and business. From walking down the concourses to marvelling at the World’s Largest Passenger Elevator at the Jio World Convention Centre, and experiencing the exquisite craftsmanship of SWADESH artisans to indulging in the splendour of Dhirubhai Ambani Square. Miss World Karolina Bielawska is all set to take her last walk and crown her successor in at the end of finals starting at 7:30pm. Karolina has always given her very best, acting as a Beauty With a Purpose ambassador with so much love, care and empathy, always with a smile upon her face and inspiring those around her with words of encouragement.

Red Carpet Miss World 2024 is nearing its end, Actresses Pooja Hegde and Niharica Raizada seen at The 71st Miss World.

7:PM - After preliminary introduction of associates all the contestants take the specially ramp at the Jio World Convention Centre which has amazingly glamor look. The candidates come on stage in continental groups.

8:50PM: Indian Iconic singer Shaan takes the stage with his team performing "Tu Aaj Ki Naari Hai". Fashion designer called on stage who thanked everyone involved. Top 40 presentation commenced with the fast track winners followed by others after a short break with Actress Sonakshi Sinha. She told her mother was pageant veteran 30 competitions.

Miss World President Julia Morley presented Humanitarian Award to Nita Mukesh Ambani who said I was guided by timeless Indian Philosophy "Satyam Shivam Sundaram." She adds this century belongs to women. A special message from Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas shown in a video presentation who was Miss World 2000.
