Charlee Royer is crowned Miss Vermont's Teen 2024

At the end of Miss Vermont's Teen 2024 Pageant held on April 12th, 13th and Grand Finale on Sunday, April 14th, the Miss Maple Grove’s Teen 2024, Charlee Royer is crowned as Miss Vermont's Teen 2024.

She was crowned by the outgoing queen Ginger Ragaishis, Miss Vermont’s Teen 2023.

Royer has shared 8 Fun Facts about her life & lifestyle in a beautiful video presentation.

She was the 1st runner-up to Miss Vermont's Teen 2023 and earned $1600. Royer told "While some believe that success is rooted in measurable acts, I believe it is based in the confidence one carries. I know that this weekend I will leave successful whether I win or if I don’t. This is because the Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization is not just about winning the sash and crown, but about the hard work put in to get there. I know that I have served my community well as Miss Maple Grove’s Teen. I will continue to work to make Vermont a better place no matter the results of this weekend’s competition. I have confidence in myself and my abilities, and I know I will be putting in my all. That is how I KNOW I will be successful."

Statement

Teen Queen Royer announced on Tuesday, April 16th "Officially signing on as your Miss Vermont’s Teen 2024!" Here is the full statement (More pictures at the official social media)

My name is Charlee Royer, and I am a 15 year old sophomore at North Country Union Highschool. This is my second year competing for Miss Vermont’s Teen.

I am absolutely thrilled to be a representative of the Green Mountain State. I can’t wait to use my year of service to promote the Miss America Organization, as well as my Community Service Initiative, Beyond the Ribbon.

Beyond the Ribbon focuses on providing mental health support to children affected by cancer. In 2020, when I was 12 year old, my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was incredibly difficult to cope with the risks of cancer and the harmful side affects of treatments. There were no recourses available for me, and I felt completely alone. Therefore I have made it my mission to make sure no child of a cancer patient feels as isolated as I did.

My action plan to spread awareness about the opportunities available through the Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization is to go into local Vermont high schools and give presentations about my experience in the program. The Miss America Opportunity prepares young women for success in their adult life by teaching them how to be poised, professional, and productive. I can’t wait to extend this opportunity to other young women in Vermont.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me achieve my dreams. To my community, your support has not gone unnoticed. Thank you so much for everything. To my parents, thank you for always helping me when I need it, and for putting up with my drama queen moments. To the Miss Vermont Board, thank you for helping me prepare for my year, everything you have taught me, and will teach me is invaluable. To Meara, Miss Vermont 2024, I can’t wait to make so many amazing memories with you this year.

I look forward to sharing this incredible year with all of you!
